In the world of counselling, professional supervision plays a crucial role in ensuring that practitioners provide the best possible support to their clients. It's a space where counsellors can reflect on their practice, gain insights, and develop their skills. Supervision is a crucial process in ongoing professional development and the personal growth of a mental health practitioner. Supervision is a collaborative endeavour between two or more professionals, the broad aims of which may be seen as the provision of a safe space for a practitioner to undertake critical self-reflections of their thoughts and feeling around their work. Learning what they might want with respect to personal and profession learning and the enhancement of their clinical practice, the improvement of administrative functions related to practice, and the provision of personal support to the practitioner.
Our Vision Creating a supportive ethical environment is the cornerstone of effective supervision. It's about building a nurturing space that not only promotes ethical practice but also prioritizes the well-being, self-care, growth, and professional excellence of counsellors. To help maintain the integrity of the counselling profession and the safety of the clients served.
Belinda is a Registered Supervisor and a Level 4 Member of the Australian Counselling Association and the ACA College of Supervisors.
